Allen County Public Library Genealogy Research Department The Genealogy Department is open Monday – Thursday from 9am to 9pm; Friday and Saturday from 9am to 6pm; and Sundays from 1pm to 6pm at the main library, downtown Fort Wayne in the Lincoln Museum building.

Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum - 1600 South Wayne St, admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students, and admission is free to residents of DeKalb County on Wednesdays. Open daily from 9am to 5pm. (260) 925-1444.

Bass Mansion – Saint Francis University, 2701 Spring St., Open Monday thru Thursday, 8am to 9pm, Friday, 8 to 4:30pm, Saturday, Noon to 5pm, and Sunday, 1pm to 5pm. Admission is by donation. 434-3194.

Black Pine Animal Park

Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo – 3411 Sherman Blvd. Open daily from 9am-5pm. Admission is: $9.50 for adults, $6.50 for children and $8.50 for seniors. 427-6800. The zoo is open through October 12.

Fort Wayne Museum of Art - 311 E Main. Hours are 10am to 5pm Tuesday-Saturday; Noon-5pm Sunday. $5 adults; $3 students, $10 families. 422-6467.

Greater Fort Wayne Aviation Museum – Lt. Paul Baer Terminal Building, Fort Wayne International Airport. Open daily 6am-7pm. A tour appointment is necessary to pass through security checkpoints unless a visitor is a passenger leaving from FWA. 747-4146 ext. 270.

The History Center - 302 E Berry, Open Tuesday thru Friday, 9am - 5pm, Saturday thru Sunday, Noon to 5pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children, and under 5 are free. 426-2882.

The Hoosier Air Museum - At the DeKalb County Airport in Auburn. Antique air craft on display, hands-on exhibits. The museum is closed through March 15. (260) 927-0443.

Kruse Automotive & Carriage Museum 5634 County Road 11-A, Auburn. Open Monday – Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday Noon to 5pm. Admission is $10 for adults, free for WWII veterans, $4 for current servicemen, $8 for seniors, children are $6, and children under 7 are free. 927-9144.

Lincoln Museum - 200 E Berry. The museum will be open free of charge the first Sunday of every month. Hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm. General admission is $4.99 and $3.99 for seniors (60 and over) and children (5-12); 455-3864

Mid-America Windmill Museum – Located at 732 S. Allen Chapel Rd.(1000E.) in Kendallville, IN. The museum will reopen in April. (260) 897-9918.

NATMUS (National Automotive and Truck Museum of the United States) – 1000 Gordon M. Buehrig Place, Auburn, IN. Hours are Thursday through Tuesday from noon until 5pm; closed Wednesday. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for children age 6-12, and children under 5 are free. (260) 925-9100

The River Greenway – The River Greenway is a 15.5 mile trail running through Fort Wayne along the banks of the St. Mary’s, St. Joseph’s, and Maumee Rivers.

Sauder Village - 22611 State Route 2, Archbold, OH. Living history museum recreating life in northwest Ohio’s Great Black Swamp from the years 1802 thru 1820. The village will reopen on May 2. (800) 590-9755.
